2015, 27 April | 0 Comments

More than 2,400 people have been reported dead after a huge 7.9 magnitude earthquake hit Nepal on Saturday, 25th of April 2015.

The country’s deputy prime minister, Bamdev Gautam, has declared a state of emergency and appealed for humanitarian assistance across the region. The city’s main hospital is overwhelmed by casualties and residents are facing a night on the streets with nowhere to go.

AMSA International would like to convey deepest condolences to the victims of the natural disaster. It is our responsibility to lend a helping hand to a chapter that is in need.
